We Grow Memories!

Our Story

From our family to yours...come and enjoy our homegrown fruit and some farmin' fun!

Did you know?

Apple Jack Orchards began in 1983 with an initial planting of only 250 trees.  We have added more each year and now boast an astonishing 10,000 trees, including 29 different Minnesota apple varieties! We started selling our crop on a railroad cart on the side of the road which we still use outside our large apple barn to this day...

Our Commitment to You!

We are committed to using safe, responsible, sustainable farming practices so you can feel confident our fruit is both safe and nutritious.

Location is Everything!

The serene natural beauty of the Crow River plus lots of good ol' farmin' fun are available to you (just 30 minutes west of the Minneapolis Metro area) starting mid summer.

Our earliest crops in the year are actually special deliveries of Michigan blueberries and cherries, beginning in July and August.  Be sure to visit the Fruit & Goodies pages for more information on this specialty crop.

In the fall, this is a family-friendly farm for all ages! We have pick-your-own fall raspberries (and of course apples...) as well as pumpkins, squash, wagon rides, and entertainment.  If shopping is more your style, the Olde Barn Gift Shop boasts a beautiful selection of seasonal decor and unique gifts.  Our 100-year old barn has beautiful views of the river and is the anchor for our indoor activities.

In 1998, we added a spacious Apple Market to provide quick selection of your favorite in-season apples and baked goods have been available since the opening of the Apple Pantry Cafe in 2003.  We offer a tasty lunch menu and yummy bakery treats in September and October.  On a beautiful day, we encourage you to take your food out back and take advantage of the views on our Crow River Terrace.

Don't forget! We can ship your apple gifts to friends and family right from the store.  Our "Fall Finale Sale" ends and the orchard closes in early November.

Fun for ALL Ages!

There are designated play areas for your younger children during the week and weekends, including a mini maze, farm animal exhibit and wooden train playground.  On the weekends, many of the older children appreciate the jumping pillow, apple cannon and beeline (zipline) as well! Families often take advantage of a photo opp on our cow train or in our pumpkin house. Both adults and kids enjoy getting lost in our 7 acre corn maze .  Miles of fun! These activities are all open on weekends starting Labor Day til Halloween. This is a great outing for families, church groups, scouts or work groups.

We hope you will come out and enjoy the "fruits" of our labor!
