Again during the 2009 season we were blessed with a crop large enough to share with the poor. So volunteers from General Mills came to pick thousands of pounds of fresh apples for SECOND HARVEST HEARTLAND - the nation's food bank network. Thanks, General Mills!  We appreciate their help to facilitate our donation. Another recipient of donated apples in fall 2009 was Emergency Foodshelf Network and local churches.
